Introduction
About OVPDC and Ottawa Valley NAVHDA
Chapter
The OVPDC and NAVHDA Chapter exists to
provide opportunities for its members to train their
pointing dogs in a variety of field, obedience and
conformation events. The Club conducts informal training
sessions throughout the year and holds special events
such as NAVHDA sanctioned trials and CKC sponsored field
tests.
If you enjoy the outdoors, training
your dog and participation in field trials and tests,
you are welcome to join the OVPDC and NAVHDA Chapter.
The Club strives to protect and
advance the interest of the pointing breeds by
encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows,
field tests and trials. The OVPDC and NAVHDA Chapter
holds an annual CKC field test on Wolfe Island
(Kingston) in May and also conducts NAVHDA trials and
CKC conformation shows.
